are weather loaches agressive

Today I noticed my favorite buddy Loach attaching one of my Mollys. The other day I found one of my Mollys dead and she looked like something had bit her. Then today I saw Loach going after the other Black Molly very aggresivley, and when I walked up to the tank Loach stopped the attach and the Molly went into hiding. My tank is a bit over crowded right now. Could this be the problem? He has been in the community the longest. He has always been very passive and friendly.

I have never heard of Weather Loaches being aggressive. Google "weather loaches" to be sure yours is truely a Weather Loach.

Thanks Dano,

I checked out the Loach forum and I have a Golden Weather Loach. They are not agressive, so I think his agression might have been related to the weather and the barometric pressure and Molly was just in the way. I have a weather forcaster in my own home that is probably more reliable the TV man.:)

He is a real pet and when I have my hand in the tank he kisses it.

Th;anks again
