Here is what the 20 gallon tank with the guppies, neons, and red cherry shrimp is looking like now. Currently the bottom of the tank is coverred in swimming fry and juvenile shrimp.

Hey Dave,

Really nice setup and tank. Just wondering, what plant is that and does it have a high upkeep? Also do you take care of the fry or do you let natural selection take its process? The fish are looking great and how powerful is that filter? Anyway, everything looks great!

The plant on the left is a wisteria, then is asian ambulia, next is java moss and in the back right corner is a jungle valisneria. A little fertilizer and plenty of light (the fixture has two 15 watt bulbs for plant growth and color), and the plants are good to go.

I let nature take its course as there are plenty of hiding places for the fry.

I am running reverse flow on the under gravel filter (two power heads each sucking water from the tank through a spongue filter and blowing the water and air down the riser tubes). The filter you see is a power head on a cartridge filter that I only turn on if the water in the tank starts to get cloudy.

Wow, I love the way your tank looks! :D I've actually been thinking about getting better lights and putting a few plants in my 29g tank, although I don't know that much about plants yet. What kind of fertilizer do you use?
