They are a salt water snail I believe, so they wouldn't work for you.
Some snails, like the pond snail, is hermaphroditic and doesn't need a partner to reproduce, and it will lay eggs and infest an aquarium. The Pomacea Bridgesii or apple snails, also known as mystery snail, golden mystery snail & inca snail have separated sexes and a male and a female are needed for reproduction. These are what you usually see at the chain stores. They come in different colors such as blue, gold, etc. I have a few in each of my tanks and enjoy watching them.
Also, how big is your tank, because clown loaches can get very large, they can grow to a max of 16 inches. Snails would be fine with your other choices.
