Default Artificial Plants Help Needed Please

I'm fed up with buying "real" plants just so that they can die or be eaten within a couple of weeks so I am thinking of getting some artificial ones.
Can anyone recommend some decent realistic artificial ones please?

Not knowing your location and the availability of local stores I can only recommend those that I am familiar with here.
PetSmart carries a nice selection in all sizes.....PetCo..has reasonable stuff....WalMart has limited variety.................Most good LFSs should have nice stuff.

Plastic plants have come a long way over the years and many are hard to tell from the live stuff until you look close.
I got off the porch and ran with the big dogs. Now I can't get back on the porch!

Some of the artificial plants made now days look real good, especially the ones made out of silk. That said I had more algae problems with artificial plants than I do with live plants.

For live plants I like wisteria and java moss as they are real easy to care for, if the fish eat some it is no big deal as I usually have to prune the wisteria in my tanks at least once a month. Live plants will use up some of the nitrate and ammonia from the fish waste as fertilizer (plant food); enough so that I don't add ferts to my tanks except when I put in new plants.
