Default Interbreeding

Earlier this year I acquired a secondhand tank along with shrimps. Some are brilliant red and others not so red. I understand that the brighter ones are the females.

But what I need to know is do I have two different types as some of the adults are almost white. They are the same size - except for one who is huge.

They are very pretty. What amazes me is that I have done nothing to encourage their breeding. I expect with 50 fry in their tank they wont stand much chance of surviving that lot. But since I have put the clown back in the community tank, earlier this week, I have already noticed baby shrimp all over the place again. Looks quite strange to see such small fry, attempting to eat baby shrimp - not quite fast enough yet though.

Thanks Stormy for that site it was very useful.
