It really is a great way for any-one that wants a fast way to breed them.

Re: Here is how I breed My bettas
I am new to Tim's forum. I would love for somew one to explain why male Bettas are treated so badly. They are kept in small containers on someone's desk or whatever, and flushed when they die. They are treated worse than gold fish. Anyway I think they are beautiful and have a personality that should be respected. Thanks for listening

Re: Here is how I breed My bettas
Bettas, are treated very bad, because in my best guess I am going to say since they are Simaese Fighting Fish and they fight. So people think they can take alot. And because they are kept in cups at walmart, and other places.

Re: Here is how I breed My bettas
Bettas are very hardy fish. They can take a lot of abuse, so many people treat them badly!!!

Re: Here is how I breed My bettas
To day I was in the pet store and overheard the sales clerk telling these people that wanted to buy a Betta for their child, because it was pretty. He said that they were so hardy that they could breed in a mud puddle. Why are people so mean to Bettas. They treat them worse than goldfish.

They can and do breed in mud puddles and rice paddies.
