Default what kind of fish do you recomend?

I have a Krib, 4 Tiger Barbs, and a Knight Goby. Planted, air raided, and lightly caved. I have about 4-6 inches of space to fill and i dont know what to put in there that will leave the others alone, and will get left alone. I kind of want a schooling fish if possable. The barbs rarely school unless the krib is in breeding mode and is agressive.

Look at my post in the tetra forum. 4 or more of those would work if your conditions are good. Petsmart has them now and then at good prices. They also have been carrying some of the biggest H. Rasboras I have ever seen! The tigers and krib will probally kill them anyway, but you won't know unless you try.

If I were you, I'd get three more Tiger Barbs. It will help the schooling behavior, and you won't be adding fish that will get beaten up by the Barbs.

Tinfoil Barbs,Cherry Barbs, there are many species of barbs. But for schooling fish as Sharon already stated, add three more barbs to enhance schooling behavior. Barbs tend to like to be in schools of 5+. Good luck with your fish.

well i got 3 green and one regular, i guess i can get another regular and an albino. The only thing is that the 3 green are much smaller then the regular, and the other ones i can find now are bigger then the regular, so wont the biggest one still pick on the little green ones or since there will still be a biggest one in the school ?

Cherry Barbs are non aggressive, and won't do well with the Barbs that you have. Barbs are nippy, and that's the "nature of the beast". Get more , and aggression will be spread out........

Why do you need to fill the space at all NewGuy? 4-6" isn't that much & the other fish would like the extra bit of space. But I agree with the others that a couple more barbs would be a good idea because they are schooling fish & it helps with aggression as Sharon mentioned.

There are a lot more barbs than just the Tiger, Albino, Green barbs NewGuy, this is just some of the barb species but they may not all be in the lfs:

Tinfoil Barb
Banded Barb
Longfin Barb
Golden Barb
Torpedo Barb (Red Line Barb)
Black Ruby Barb
Checkered Barb
Cherry Barb
Odessa Barb

well i never new there was more that would school together. I realy like the Odessa Barb. I think i might just stick with the 4 i have and add one of those, althought i do also liek the albino lol maybe one of each to spice it up.
