Lightbulb Starting a new tank

I'm about to start my first Saltwater Fish Tank Im looking for some recomendations on Tank sizes( Glass or Acrilic) Fish to start with, Filter, Protien Skimmers, Filters and Helping Web pages that I can book mark. So if your a beginner and had sucses PLEASE post your fish and I'll go with it.


PS. I've heard a lot of things about fish deseases that is go unnoticed can kill the Entire tank What are the best medicines and ways to prevent it .

Search the net for saltwater topics and get a feel for water conditioning, maintennence, filtering, ect. I could sit here and type the answers to all the questions, but it would be easier if you researched then asked specific questions.

anny one knows how manny fish i will put in my 5 galon tank? i just started last 2 days ago and wait for another 6 days to put
fish in my tank.

Since you posted in the Beginner Saltwater forum, I assume you are thinking of starting a 5gal saltwater tank. You have a long way to go before you think about fish. It could be a month to several months before you are ready for fish. A 5 gallon won't support much of a bio load.
