Default Tiger Barbs

Do You Think I Could Fit A Small School Of tiger Barbs In My 55 Gallon? (Please Look At My Signature To See What Fish I Have.) And Are they Any Compatibility issues?

Thanks,
Anthony.

I've seen videos of jacks and green terrors with tiger barbs...and they all seem good. But I guess you know more then me lol i have a small convict that survived in the tank with them...Although the other one didn't. But i think it was because of the zebra cichlid...i didn't put it in their the lady i bought my tank and fish off of put them together. not a very good choice.

I don't know more than you! I assumed that the GT and JD had some size and that type of fish eats little fish when they get above 4 inches long. Green Terrors are known to live up to their name as is the Jack Dempsey. Same with Oscars and the other large cichlids. I have seen all of the above eat three inch long fat goldfish like candy.

So I assumed Know lol. I was just Wondering. haha They Probably Would Eat Them. I have a Gourami In there. As well They Seem To Leave Him Alone As Does my friends 8 inch jack. That's with a three spot gourami. I'm not going to get the tiger's.

Every fish is different.

Adding a gourami to a JD and GT tank is extremly risky, I give you props for even having a JD and GT together.

This is a sentence from a previous post that brings up a good point about mixing big aggressive fish with smaller or more sensitive fish. "convict that survived in the tank with them...' Is just surviving with the big fish desirable or having a stress free life with other less hostile tank mates. Usually in a big mixed aggressive fish tank there is always a chance of hostility. Think how happy the smaller fish would be not knowing if they are going to get gulped any second.

okay Let me rephrase he's doing quite well and has grown considerably actually. I might get about 4 more of them. Is there enough space or is that over crowding?
