filter for betta?

hi
could anyone suggest an filter for betta/siamese fighter
i have read that they dont like fast flows,
therefore if you have a tank ie30 litres what would i need
to look for?

There are many small internal and external filters that will fit your tank size....Some are air powered and some are electric.....You may have to figure a way to block or diffuse the flow with some of them.....The little air powered internal box filters will produce a weaker current, but you will have to have an air pump and tubing.

I have had a betta in a hex shaped tank with an underground filter and he loved it. I've also had success with the small Whisper internal filter. My last betta was housed in the Eclipse 3 aquarium that has a small biowheel. My betta wasn't bothered at all by the water motion in any of these setups.

I used an UGF for a while, but too much gunk accumulated under it. I dont bother with filters for my bettas now; I do weekly water changes and that seems to be just fine for them. Their tanks are only 5 gallons in size, so not too big.
