Default Invincible Snails

I finally got around to setting up my 29 gallon yesterday, but now I'm starting to see snails climb all over the glass

I used the same gravel as before but it sat out in the sun for 2 weeks, how could the snails survive that long out of water

I would add ghost shrimp to eat all the snails but I'm planning on makeing the tank a krib fry grow out tank. Kribs and ghost shrimp are not a good combo. I was thinking about adding a skunk loach does any one have a better idea?

Btw: the snails are about 1 1/2 in and have a pinty spiral shell. (they breed like crazy)

You could add the ghost shrimp, wait until they have eaten the baby snails, and such and then put them into another tank where they will work with the other fish. Later you could take out the larger snails by hand (works the best) and get rid of them. I'm sorry you have a snail problem, they get very annoying, i know . When do you want to put the Krib fry into the tank?

I was thinking about a zebra loach, they stay small and apparently eat snails.

BTW: I found the name of the snail Trumpet snail
