Thumbs up Update on my Betta Buddy

He is almost back to acting normal again. Even his eye and the side of his face are looking better. The swelling has gone down a lot and he is constantly swimming around again. Today, he looked like he was going to start rooting in the gravel. I suppose his face is pretty sore, so that may take awhile before he does that again.

Thanks to everyone for their concern. I really do appreciate it. Not everyone understands how terrible us fish lovers can feel when something happens to one of our fish. It is so nice to be able to come here and talk to people that truly understand. Thanks so much!!

MY uncle used to call me a booger when i was younger...ANYWAYS! I'm glad he is back to his normal self Nancy. And i totally know what you mean when people don't understand us fish lovers concern of our fish.

You wouldn't believe how happy my comet goldfish is in his temporary 10 gall. tank. I don't even want to take him out but he poops too much so i think i'll have too .

That is great news to hear fishlover!

These forums are truly great as we all have one thing in common, fish tanks! and can learn from one another by sharing our experiences.

You don't know how relieved I am to hear that Nancy & You know, since your thread, every time I hear a noise coming from/near the tanks I go & check on the fish just in case it was one of them knocking himself silly on the lid.
