10 gallon tank
Hi everyone again, I currently have a 10 gallon starter kit from walmart. Im currently on the phase of perfecting a DIY canister filter for the aquarium so the hang on filter will be gone in this week. The tank currently have little rock substrate, like 5 live plant and 2 platics. The currently stock is 3 dwarf gouramis, 1 platy, and one male guppy.
I'm thinkg on getting some ghost shrimp(like 5), a school from danios or neon tetras, and like 2 otos. Is that to much or it will be fine.

Re: 10 gallon tank
I think that's overstocking the tank right there. If you get another 10 gallon or even better a 20 or 29 gallon then you can put them in together, i'm not just sure on the capability though, your going to ahve to ask someone else. I wouldn't add anymore fish in your tank right now.

Re: 10 gallon tank
You definitely have enough fish...the tank is overstocked as it is. The Dwarf Gouramis will be aggressive unless you have all females...

Re: 10 gallon tank
Well actually everyone is doing fine currently, I got 2 males and 1 female dwarf gourami. So far there isn't aggression, because the tank got some hiding place for the fish. Well I think the only thing that would add are some glass shrimp, to help clean up the aquarium.

Re: 10 gallon tank
The males will likely become territorial and they are likely to fight, especially in a tank of this size. I'd keep a close eye on them....
